The aged care sector is continuing its rapid energy efficiency transformation.
Verdia has now replaced 49,000 old energy guzzling lights with super efficient LEDs and installed 6.7 megawatts of solar PV across 150 aged care homes.
This is just the start, we estimate the sector could save more than $100 million a year in energy costs if it keeps on this path.
Verdia will be showcasing its aged care success stories at the LASA National Congress 2019, held in Adelaide over three days at the end of October.
The aged care sector is making great gains by reducing energy costs, improving lighting for residents and families, and achieving better environmental performance. Verdia has worked on the development and delivery of solar PV projects and LED lighting fit-outs for several leading aged care homes, including Opal Aged Care, Allity and Hardi.
Verdia is an affiliate member of LASA (Leading Aged Services Australia), and was asked to participate in the event’s Digital Poster program.
